The Unaffiliated Dressage Championships at Wellington Riding on Monday 23 April were hotly contested. The standard of the classes was exceptionally high with several scores over the 70% mark in all the levels. Congratulations to of all the riders, especially those who were placed. We were thrilled to see so many Dressage Anywhere riders in the line up.
Annabel Whittet with Rum Jungle won both the Preliminary and Novice Restricted Championships with scores of 79.09% and 75.86% respectively and there was another double in the Open Section, Darren Hegarty riding Harlequin Dun Raven picked up the honors in both classes with scores of 69.09% and 72.78%
The Elementary Restricted Championship was won jointly by Claire Anderson riding Mrs Millions and Sophie Bevan with Django III both with a score of 66.25%. Amy Searle riding Sebastian who also scored 66.25% won the Open section.
British Dressage judges Ellie Dadkhah (Preliminary), Jenny Welham (Novice) and Mary Robley (Elementary) presided and all said they were impressed with the quality of the riding. Dressage Anywhere was delighted to sponsor the series this year.
