About Anita

I came to Judging via a competitive career in eventing to 3DEvent/Advanced Dressage levels. I have two horses with whom l continue to enjoy training/refresh my knowledge by attending clinics with respected coaches. I am a BD recognised Level 3 Coach/BHS Accredited Trainer. I really enjoy the opportunity that judging gives me to pass on my experience to riders of all ages and standards.

Three things you may not know about Anita

1. I have been part of the technical team as a 'Writer' at three European Championships plus the London Olympics.
2. I met my future husband whilst on a skiing holiday - on top of a mountain in a blizzard!
3. I trained a Pony/Junior rider to European team bronze medal level - now an international GP rider.

Top dressage tip

Study 'the Directives' which are printed on every BD/FEI test sheet - these are the 'Way of Going' requirements for each 'Movement' and the criteria which Judges follow when assessing your Tests. A TICK is a positive recognition an UNDERLINE a negative which needs improvement! A 'blueprint guide' for your training programme.
