About Alex
Having struggled to get the dressage scores to be competitive at OI eventing, I focussed for months on end and got a score of 22 (78%), 3 events running, ending up on that score and winning, beating my trainer Owen Moore and the likes of Toddy at the same time, aged 17. This was the beginning of the addiction that has been with me ever since. I now strive to help others catapult their progression to get that same high.
Three things you may not know about Alex
- I have both dreams and nightmares about transitions, often in the same night.
- I've had a stutter since the age of 7, had countless speech therapy sessions over 2 decades, gave up with it as pointless, now barely stutter at all.
- Can snow ski backwards down black runs, the result of having too many kids!
