About John

John spent his youth in Northumberland, where he was a member of the North Northumberland Pony Club, to whose Pony Club Camp Lady Joicey brought her dressage horses. At first John competed in hunter trials and showjumping competitions, before specialising in dressage. He has judged at the Riding Club, Pony Club and RDA Championships, BD Regionals, the National Championships at Stoneleigh and the Winter Championships at Hartpury.

Three things you may not know about John

1. Has an Honours degree in French and German.
2. Was Chef d’Equipe in 1996 in Blarney for the Pony, Junior and Young Rider Dressage teams.
3. Has produced, ridden and trained three homebred horses.
