About Sue

Born in London, Sue learnt to ride during the summer holidays in Norfolk and didn’t become a horse-owner until she was an adult and living with her family in Essex. The whole family became involved – in hunting, the Pony Club (where Sue was an official), and later breeding and competing horses in dressage and eventing. Sue went on to specialise in dressage, and schooled her own homebred horse to Grand Prix and a second to Prix St. Georges level. As a BD List 2A judge, Sue thoroughly enjoying turning her hand to whatever was required. Read British Dressage's tribute to Sue here.
