About Mark

Having ridden and competed all of his life, Mark started at The Pony Club (West Street South). Having ridden on many pony club teams this was a wonderful basis to launch an amateur riding career. Growing up showing was a large part of his life which then morphed for many years into Eventing. For the last 25 years, dressage has been Mark's primary passion and focus and riding up to INT 2. When asked about what made Mark become a dressage judge, he says 'my absolute passion for watching the communication between rider and horse in a happy environment reach the most fantastic levels of training'. Mark likes breaking down each movement and understanding at all levels the work that has gone into that movement and thereafter positively reflecting that.
