Announcing the Return of the IDHS (GB) Online League!

Starting in December 2025 and running through to March 2026, this three-month series provides a fantastic opportunity to compete, earn points and focus on your training over the winter months - all from your own arena.

Competition Details

The league runs under British Dressage (BD) Rules and all tests will be judged by qualified British Dressage judges.

Who Can Enter: The competition is open to both IDHS (GB) Members and Non-Members aged 14 years and over.

Classes: We are offering a full range of classes, including Introductory, Preliminary, Novice and Elementary, using the latest BD tests.

Prizes: Rosettes will be awarded up to 4th place in line with BD rules, plus there is a fantastic opportunity to WIN prize money!

The IDHS (GB) Online League

Eligible horse and rider combinations will earn points each month towards the final league standings. The points structure is as follows.

Eligibility and Rules Summary

To ensure fair competition, please review the key eligibility rules.

  • Horse Requirements: Horses must be registered or overstamped with the IDHS (GB), be 4 years old or over, and stand at 153cms or above. (Please check the IDHS website for detailed passport information.)
  • Stallions: Competing stallions must be the progeny of a Graded Mare and sired by an RID, RID (GB), Class 1 or 2 stallion.
  • Rider Restrictions: Riders may not enter a class more than one level below their highest entry in any competition class, regardless of where the competition is held, up to Medium. For example, a rider competing at Medium level may not enter the Novice classes.
