The annual Veteran Horse Online Championship Show hosted by Dressage Anywhere concluded with a fantastic display of harmony and enduring partnership.
This competition, designed to celebrate the brilliance of horses aged 15 and over, once again proved that age truly is just a number in the dressage arena!
Competitors from around the world qualified during 2025 to enter the Online Championship Show. Here are the champions and top placings from a memorable show.
The Intro classes set a high bar, demonstrating beautiful and strong partnerships, with the 20+ veterans proving they still have plenty of sparkle!
1st Gillian MacVicar and The Boss Man 72.95%
2nd Jess Thomas and Lady Breeze 68.64%
3rd Samantha Bell and Maggie 66.14%
A stellar result for Gillian MacVicar and The Boss Man, who absolutely nailed their test to secure a championship rosette with a brilliant score over 72%!
1st Andrea and Spirit 71.82%
2nd Siobhan Meechan and Huntingfield Breagha 71.36%
=3rd Charlotte Irwin and Winster 68.41%
=3rd Amanda Irwin-Macpherson and Bitteswell Miss Mole 68.41%
It was a tight finish in the 20+ class, with Andrea and the magnificent Spirit taking the title just ahead of Siobhan Meechan. A special mention to the joint third placers showing incredible consistency at this level!
Partnerships rose to the challenge, showcasing their seasoned teamwork.

Sue Murphy and Who Sez edged out a close win, demonstrating the close competition throughout this category.
1st Kristina and Olaf 70.00%
2nd Heather Dixon and Hostage To Fortune 69.79%
3rd Lisa Middlebrook and First Class 68.96%
A fantastic 70% from Kristina and Olaf secured the Preliminary 20+ title, just pipping the Reserve Champion by a fraction of a percent. This was a class defined by very high scores!
Kirsty Wigg and Mowgli IV followed up their Preliminary placing with a superb 67.40% to clinch the Novice title, demonstrating progress and quality. They were closely followed by Jill Tuffrey and Sparky in second with a strong 66.60%.
The highest-level champion crowned was Hilary Rogers Leach with Top Price Chanterie, who dominated the Elementary class with an outstanding 70.00%! To score 70% at Elementary level with a veteran horse is a truly remarkable achievement, showcasing the enduring fitness and training of this pair.
